This field was used to park vehicles carrying poll personal and material for the 2021 Assam Assembly Elections. Gross mismanagement of shuttle vehicles. As a result everyone had to suffer and walk great distances to reach this field which is far away from the distribution centre. If the shuttle services can be streamlined this would prove to be a boon for future elections. It helps to avoid traffic congestion by bypassing Dibrugarh town.
