I have been taking my Pomeranian dog Honey to this vet since I got her about 8 years ago, they do an amazing job, and truly care about the animals in there care, I can rest assured knowing my dog is in great hands, and also getting the best treatment/ checkups/ dental cleanings possible. Not only are the the doctors amazing, there front receptionist staff are super friendly and helpful and take there time to help answer all your questions. Thank you central city animal hospital for taking good care of my dog and having good prices also. Highly recommend this vet If you are looking for the best care possible for your fur baby needs.

I took my bunny there for the 1st appt prior to her spay, very friendly, loved the place, best price.nOne thing that threw me off was, they asked me to bring my bunny next week, in fast prior to the spay, bunnies are not like dogs and cats, they can’t fast or they can die. As a “ exotics “ vet he should know that better, I will procede with the spay, I just hope they inform their staff a little better. Bunnies cannot vomit, so no risk of vomiting with the anesthesia.nI will update my review after the surgery

Been coming to this vet for 6 years, and was happy they never tried to upsell us, with our 2 rescue dogs, until today. They stressed they needed blood and urine along with their reg. shots. Did not say it would cost $500! Both dogs are very healthy - vet said we should use it as a baseline. So unhappy with my $853 bill.nThen they insisted both dogs teeth are in desperate need of cleaning - at over $400 per dog. My dogs are 6yrs and have great teeth for their age.nWill never return - feel so ripped off.

Kind & caring staff. Reasonable cost. Our dog stopped scratching her head within 2 days and is now fully recovered.

My dog Ginger stepped on some broken porcelain in the forest on a walk.nnRecommended by folks at the Hume Dog Park, Central City Animal Hospital is close by, so when the accident happened, I called. They got Ginger in right away and later that same day she was home and recovering.nnThen it happened again, less than a month later. They fixed Ginger up again and she's recovering now.nnThey were kind, observed all the covid protocols and reasonably priced. (Surgery is still super expensive tho.)nnI found an old toilet, half buried just off the path. It has now been removed.
