Great architecture, but charging R300 PER camera OR mobile phone is BS. Even charged my wife despite assurance that she wouldnt use her phone. Lots of locals taking phone pics, pretty sure they didn't pay. Welcome to Delhi :(

Jama Masjid, a great example of Mughal art built by Mughal emperor Shahjahan. A very large Mosque. Outside, you will find a large market, where you can purchase clothes, books, Attar, shoes, jewellery etc. Also, if you fond of Mughalai foods, you must visit this place. Al-Karim, Al-Jawahar hotels are famous for delicious non veg foods. Also, you can get Kababs, Biryanis and other non veg items there at very genuine rates. On gate number 2, there is famous market named Meena Bazaar, a small market with all necessary items. Alongside this, you must be careful about pickpockets.
