Kutchch Fossil Park

This unique site is in very small area but very interesting. Fossils were of trees thousands of million years old according to guide. And what I understand there are meteoroid rocks are there also. Road to reach is very bad of couple of kilometers. I hope Indian or Gujarat government take care of it.

A place with great importance and potential yet to be fully acknowledge. A lot must be hinnden under the surface. Good site for the archeologist and geologists. Maintenance work under progress but needs to be properly identified and made fully functional. Place of great importance. Should visit and know the importance of this place.

This place brings you back to the real Jurassic time. At the edge of white desert and Khadir island it's the place full of fossils. Unfortunately lots of fossils are on display of entrances of some hotels and in the showcase of some people !! Only some small pieces left here to visit!! In the beginning it was large piece of wood fossil but now only pieces !! Now forest department and local government is trying to protect whatever left !!
