Lamka Public Ground

It is a place where different kinds of community, people etc. Come to play a Sports of different kinds in their own interest. There were also a few who view this place as for relaxing their mind and had a pleasant feeling.nWhile sometimes it is used for conducting Sports, Service of any kind, Function, Independence &Republic celebrations

Still has lots of room for improvement. I mean, lots. It could be one of the oldest , renowned and important landmark of Churachandpur district.However, it seems as though, the District administrators/Concerned Department has done nothing much for an upgrade, except for its recent construction of pavilion on one side which extended to a perimeter fench. The playground had remained so below standard for so many years. Depending on season's cycle, the playground will have a mud pitch and a dust pitch. Forget artificial turf, natural grass turf is hardly maintained on a portion of the ground. Where the grass grow then that area is the grass turf portion of the playground. Those grasses can grow knee high.. it needs proper maintenance and quick standardization.

I had a very fun experience here with my friends. Here this place is pretty big and when you would sit in the sits as shown in the pictures you will have a very excellent view of the mountains which is breathtaking, wind blows so pleasingly. Many Events are organised here so visiting here during those times is more exciting.

the one and only official playground and land mark for the town of Churchandpur

The only stadium-ish in town but not a maintained one. Organisation and philanthropic organisations can take up a step to make it a stadium and not an -ish one.
