It's a historical place for Christians of Nagaland.nIn 1894 Molung became the first Christian village in Nagaland under the aegis of Dr. E. W. Clark an American Baptist missionary, he shifted the Mission Centre from Molungkimong to this very village Impur, now also known as Ao Baptist Arogo Mungdang (ABAM) , Impur.
