It is a nice and serene place having quite surroundings for the post part. The road leading to the place however implies the cleanliness standards of the city in general (not the cleanest city).nComing back to the point, most monuments in the city are well maintained and cleansed, and this is no exception. Do visit if you get a chance as it is at somewhat outer of the city.

Majorly overlooked by tourist visiting Amritsar, this place offers a good insight into Hindu culture and depictions of Ramayana. The temple premises are nothing short of majestic, and a lot of hard work has been put in to construct as well as maintain the beauty of the place. I would surely recommend one to take out 3-4 hours from their Amritsar travel itinerary and visit the site.

Bhagwan valmiki tirath who wrote ramayan before 10000 years of the birth of Raja ram..here Sita (wife of Raja Ram) lived for long time at the cottage of Bhagwan valmiki ji with his son love and kush..it is renovated now. People from all around the India came there and pay obeisance
