Thinking of the age of each structure and the way it's constructed, it's mind blowing. One must visit this place to know the history and workmanship and the lout they have put forth to construct such a massive work of art. All the temple are dedicated to lord siva. The famous joumbalama temple is very near

This museum is a must visit for those visiting Jogulamba Temple of Alampur. This archeological museum is a treasure trove of ancient and rare artifacts, not only of exquisitely carved sculptures, but also of many rock inscriptions belonging to the Chalukyas. These include the statue of Surya, monolithic sculpture of Shiva and Parvathi on Nandi, various forms of Nataraja, Mahishasura Mardhini, Saptamatrukas, etc. The inscriptions which stood the test of time, mostly in Devanagari shed light on the system and practices of those times.
