These temples were built by the Chola Kings. One can find the Dravidian Architecture especially of Tamil region. The Nava brahma Temples and the Shrine of Jogulaamba are the places to find inner peace, if we are not hurry to cover all the places in short time.

Ancient temple with mesmerising architecture and a peaceful place to visit.nThere are many smaller temples surrounding Balabrahmeshwara Swamy temple and you can spend quality time here exploring the architecture and can't stop appreciating the work of ancient Indians.nnBest time to visit is on weekdays in the morning time. Generally crowded during weekends. Allot a half-day to explore the beauty of Alampur.

One of the most ancient temples, the history runs for almost 1400 years. This temple was submerged during the Kurnool floods in 2009.nYet the place stands strong and powerful .nIn less than half a kilometer stands another beautiful structure, somalingeshwara swamy, which was relocated From the banks of the river to alampur due Sagar hydro electric projects. Must visit papanasanam too
