Great place for short team outings, family picnics. Ask directions from locals when you can, as getting there could be a bit tricky. Great picnic spot! You can be back home by evening and have memorable moments of the trip. The Kotpally project is picturesque with water boats and kayaks (life vests provided). Kayaking is for Rs. 200 per person for 30 mins. Good for family as well, decent crowd, but if you are going there with family, return before it gets dark. Basic snacks and beverages available at Kotpally project. One personal request though, this place is still sort of untouched by full fledged commercial exploitation yet. Please avoid littering and plastic carry bags (at least pile them away in a place, it’s an eyesore to see all the plastic around such beautiful place) and be environment friendly, be helpful to the locals in whatever way you can, give them any food if they ask. Very beautiful resorvior. Need to take the food and water along as their is no proper facilities. Seenec view is awesome. The best water place outing you could find near Hyderabad.
