In Rishikesh, this is a modest south-Indian style ashram under Swami Rakeshanand ji. It is very close to River Ganges and walkable distance to Ganga Aarthi, which in my opinion is a better experience than Haridwar. Karthikeya Ashram welcomes everyone with warm heart, to stay enjoy the divinity of Swami Thandayuthapani and be part of the Ashram's schedule. I was blessed to enjoy this in 2018 and 2019. Ashram also provides accomodation and south indian food for who those who request it (ahead of time).

The Ashram room has Heater facility too. Me & my friends stayed here during September 2015 for three days. Krishna swami here is very helpful in arranging the cab for us. Moreover we had Tamilnadu meals over here.

Bhogar's followers are living here. Bhohar who is Sithar made the idol of Lord Subramania in Plani, Tamilnadu. This place is good for meditation.

this ashram has homely atmosphere and administratives of this ashram sri guru poojya Rakeshananda and Sundara Chaitanyananda are very polite and helping tendency in providing our south indian food, providing tour operators etc. pooja in temple here in two times i.e. morning and evening is good.
