Dirty, as expected from a government office but helpful folks. Had gone for an internet connection, was redirected to a franchisee.nnNow read me rant about the franchisee.nnThe franchisee in Guwahati is asking for 5000 INR for the installation, which includes only 100 m wire along with a vFibre modem. Another 1200 to 1500 INR to cover the cost of extra wire. So total 6200 INR only for installation.nnWhen I asked the reason for the high cost, the engineer mentioned its to cover future wire cut issues!! No phone instrument included. Still, without other viable options in Guwahati, decided to try my luck. Was promised the connection in 1 day and after 3 days, there was still no movement on the request. Cancelled my application on Day 4.

The office is situated in a cool area covered by lots of trees.The workers are efficient and follow strict rules regarding issuance of sim cards etc.
