It's beautiful and underrated. Entry fee is only 25 per person. We visited on a cloudy day. The weather could not have been any better. With greenery and wood flowers, stones and boulders... made the experience memorable. There is a beautiful temple of Pattaya Ram atop 400 steps. The trek level is easy. Loved the place.

Half Day outing spot 😇 It is an exciting spot with a lot of improvements and cleaner environment. A few tips and details: ~ This place is located about 50 kms from bangalore. Located in Ramanagar Town. ~ The entrance has a big idol of Lord Hanuman. ~ The entry gate opens at 9am. Entry ticket per adult is 25/- & 10/- for 2 wheelers. It's another 1.5km from the entry gate with ample parking space. ~ We do not have to leave our footwear at the entrace of the footsteps. ~ There are around 400 change steps once we start the trek to reach the temple. ~ Trekking can be continued from the path behind the temple, where path gets a little steep and difficult as it progresses but not very difficult. ~ Once u reach the top, it's the most wonderful and not be missed spot. ~ There are small steps carved out on a stone there are railings on the side to hold and climb. Note : the trek post temple is not advisable for elderly people and very small kids. A scenary to be ogled at, and a perfect family picknic spot.

Lemme give you a brief description of this beautiful place. 1) There will be approximately 300 or more steps to climb once you reach the place. 2) There is a downward trek where there is a Hanuman statue which is said to be more than 700 years old. 3) There is an upward trek. Many view points are there. 4) There were no monkey's when I visited the place. The place was more than I expected to be. Lunch was provided in the temple when I had visited and the lunch was very good. And to reach the peak you have to climb the rocky steps which looks thrilling and the view from the top once you reach is amazing. It is the highest possible point of the place. Everyone are allowed to visit, but climbing the rocky steps with the kids would be little dangerous. Better to spend some time in peace at the peak. It will be a beautiful view to watch from the top Also there is a small fees which is taken at the entrance- for 1 person Rs 25 and for 1 bike Rs 10 and for 1 car it might be Rs 20. If you are planning to visit, do visit once. You will never regret visiting this place.

Belived as one of the places Lord Rama visited. Beautiful scenic place. 2 small temples situated on the hill. Reaching hill top is short adventure trekking. Good place for short trip from Bangalore, can spend 2-4 hours ( to climb hill around 400 steps, visit temple, enjoy scenery, explore surroundings).
