This bank was founded by Pawan kumar Bajaj (MD & CEO), Shri K. V. Rama Moorthy (ED), Shri Ashok Kumar Pradhan (ED) in 1950. The bank was the result of the merger of four Bengali banks: Comilla Banking Corporation (founded by Narendra Chandra Dutta in 1914 now Bangladesh), Bengal Central Bank (founded by Sri J.C. Das in 1918), Comilla Union Bank (founded by Shri Indu Bhusan Dutta (IAS), in 1922) and Hooghly Bank (founded by Sri D.N. Mukherjeee 1932).

Very poor service, when you go to deposite or widrawal cashier say sorry maam/sir link doesn't work or out of order whatever, i don't think to go to next time...
