Patang Kite Museum

3 stars because it was closed and I have no clue What's inside. However I was able to spot some beautiful old rock art. Again these beautiful sculptures were very amazing to look at but there was no history or details written anywhere around. All we can do is imagine what could it have been in the past.nMaybe if they do some more work on it, I will prefer going there again.

Located in the Sanskar Kendra, the Kite Museum in Ahmedabad is the brainchild of Bhanubhai Shah. The Museum is one of a kind in our country and it is the second one in the world.

The museum is closed since lockdown. I went there on 26th Jan 2021 and disappointed. Not sure when it will reopen.

Very nice collection of rare and collectable kites

Museum for kites.. expected a lot but it just had basic information about kites history. Could have made better. Idea of having kite mesuem is good but collections need to improve. Poorly maintained. Place is stuffy with dust and poor ventilation. Please improve this good tourist attraction.
