Colonel's Retreat At The Airport

Booked this hotel seeing the reviews after our initial booking with another hotel got cancelled unexpectedly. And very true to the reviews this place is really good. All the staff members are very welcoming , rooms and bathrooms are neat and tidy . It may be difficult for cab drivers to locate this place as it is located inside one of the defence colonies. This place is very near to airport terminal 2 and 3 but if you happen to land in terminal 1 you will have to travel a good 12 km to get here.Food is also served for guests . Hotel staff are happy to arrange taxis for pickup and drop but depending on Ola or Uber cabs will cost you way less. Overall I am happy about the stay.

The hotel is really cosy and nice. The room was spacious and the beds with two pillows each are quite comfortable. The room has a desk, a chair, an arm-chair, a phone. The bedsheets were fresh and the room was clean. Also there is a balcony and a big bathroom with a big mirror and special make-up mirror (anyway, I used this mirror for that, best smokey eyes ever)nWhat was a bit confusing is the amount of switches. I had to guess which switch does what and I wasn't able to use the air-conditioning (either I am stupid or the battery in the remote control is flat. Both variants are actually possible). Good thing is that there was a fan (which made scary noises and I was afraid it would fly away because it was spinning in a fast and aggressive manner). Anyway, it did it job well and didn't leave me alone.nOn a serious note the hotel is close to the airport (one stop by the underground) next to the park. Proximity to the airport makes it quite noisy (but I was exhausted and slept like a log, still some people might find it hard to fall asleep).nThe breakfast consists of 2 options: Indian style or scrambled eggs/omelette/fried eggs with toasts and bananas.nAll in all, it was very pleasant stay.

Really great service for low cost. Still some construction is going on. But really good room size and its peaceful

Nice clean and spacious.. Worth it's rate

Very spacious & comfortable rooms. As we had taken 3 rooms for family get-together, the whole spacious suite with 3 rooms was ours. Furnished drawing & dining space made the interactions with the whole family great fun. The hotel staff was friendly and cooperative. The included breakfast was good & the staff was courteous; Children enjoyed playing at Table tennis table on ground floor. Overall, it was an out & out fantastic stay at Colonel's Retreat, Dwarka.
