Good place for trekking and spend time. Faced problem figuring out starting point for trekking as google map drops us middle of nowhere. Locals were really helpful finding it. No public restroom available. As place contains less greenary, should plan for trekking on cloudy days or early morning time. Afternoon sun will heat up boulders and dehydrates a lot through sweat.

Get here for a Weekend hike ..start early to see the sunrise and good view. It could. Get hot later as the day progresses

There are 2 ways to reach thw summit guys. One includes an additional trek and which woukd consume a good portion of your energy. Second one is much easier and straightforward.nnIts a good beginners treknMight take a max of 45-50 minutes to reach the summitnNo shops nearby so keep your water bottles and snacks packed beforehand.nIt can assure you a decent sunrise and sunset.nTrails coukd be hard to find, so would need a knack to find it.nnIve attached 3 pics here, the first one shows a steep rock that will take you through the long route, take that if you like trekking.nTake the other route if you want to reach on top fast.nnIf you are coming from bangalore, leave bangalore by 2. Start climbing by 4.30nnFinally do make sure not to drop litter. All tge best.

Awesome place for Trekking, Some local loafers will show knife and demand for money. Keep an extra knife to screwup these kinds of people. Except this it is a good place for camping too.nWe had recently trekked here. Before trekking carry all your necessary items with you and climb up (trek) the hill ASAP. Because if it is too late, it is very difficult to trek the hill.
