Very poor and pathetic experience in the traffic system in Kollam city. Very poor management has been done here. Few police officers are seen in the heart of the city but its only for managing the crowd when some useless political strikes happen. Otherwise for checking purposes helmets or seat belts.nNot even a single signal light works properly nor people understand how the system is guiding. As a citizen, i consider the police are utmost inefficient in managing the vehicles. The traffic management just beside the traffic police station in chamakkada is the most horrible scene daily. No use in complaining too. The so called main road leading to Chinnakkada is known to be a one way road, but now its now two way road or a three way. Gos knows. Noone parks the vehicles properly and that too makes huge traffic congestions.

Station is not good,there is no proper management for station control,there is a bulk size scrap of accidental and other vehicles lying in the yard and surrounding,no recycling, functioning is also poor
