There is not a single negative aspect about this hotel. It is extremely clean, the spa/pool/sauna is very well maintained and modern, and the staff is incredibly kind. The absolute cherry on the cake is the food. Every night is a culinary wonder, and it would be a mistake not to take half pension.
If my family lived closer, we would book a room just for the dinner alone !
I would love to give a 6 star rating. I have been to a few 5* hotels, but this one was the best. Gives more what you expect from a 5*, yet not too much, and not "baroque"! Discreet with style. The owner is very nice, all staff were very friendly, the room was perfect, the wellness as well... and then the food. Absolute Michelin Star quality every evening! The breakfast was healthy, fresh and tasty (with perfect coffee), afternoon snack as well. We booked for 5 days, but than decided to stay longer - fortunately somebody cancelled a reservation and we could stay an extra 2 days. We're looking forward to visit again!

We stayed in many of the top resort in the world, Hotel Monika went above and beyond our expectations.
1) Room: extremely comfortable, modern decorations, beautiful landscape with a magnificent view of alps.
Absolutely brilliant in every aspect!
The staff are incredible, the food is exquisite and the facilities and rooms are simply mind-bogglingly stunning.
