In the heart of Lentini in a high historical and archaeological interest. Being in the middle is difficult to find parking but it is must for those who love this kind of visits. Let someone inside guide you inside. Keep really a lot ...

As the seat of the martyrdom of the Three Brothers Saints Alfio, Cirino and Philadelphus, in ancient times the church had the title of cathedral and was the seat of a diocese that included areas now belonging minimally Archdiocese of Syracuse but largely swallowed up by diocese of Caltagirone, much more recent creation (19th century) in expenses for most of those territories that once were part of the diocese of Lentini but then it had been part of the archdiocese of Syracuse Lentini when it was suppressed because of Arab invasion of the Saracens and never reconstituted, despite some timid attempts at the time of the Kingdom of Naples and the two Sicilies (before opting to establish a new headquarters in Caltagirone). The remarkable importance of the site would have it that the seat was elevated at least to the concathedral church and assigned an auxiliary bishop and some diocesan functions and offices, instead of remaining purely titular seat

It is a splendid example of Baroque style, restored a few years ago and with interesting examples of putridarium exposed to the public.
