Doctor Sotgiu was absolutely brilliant! Something went into my wife’s eye while we were on vacation in Olbia. We called the doctor and he was very accommodating - fitted her into his clinic within 2hrs and she walked out pain-free. We found him to be extremely professional, friendly and empathetic - a bonus was that his English was excellent. 100% recommend to any tourists needing an eye specialist!

English speaking, very flexible + outstanding medical reaction and treatment of an issue which proved to be serious (urgent eye surgery required). Shares time with the Sassari hospital, which has a top-quality team and equipment in ophtalmology, under Pr Boschia's direction (head of Bari university ophtalmology chair, in Sassari 3-4 days/week). Dr Sotgiu organized the surgery by Pr. Boschia within minutes of diagnosis confirmation and had an attentive follow-up.

I came to Sardinia for the holidays and I had a bad problem with an umbrella that caused me a big eye trauma, to remedy going on a visit to Sassari, I chose to be checked by the Doctor in private.
