Maria Immacolata

former Parish Church of Maria Immacolata, a place that until around 2008 was still active within the new parish of Jesus the Redeemer, formed years before by union with the parish of San Giuseppe Artigiano of which the church no longer exists, while the complex of Maria Immacolata is still standing but decadent and in a state of complete abandonment, I don't know why they say that the church is not there ... will they be cached? the place belongs, if I'm not mistaken, to the Diocese that tried to sell the land, but at the moment no one buys it, leaving the area in complete abandonment, sometimes I find myself for some straggler, sometimes a place to hide stolen bikes or mopeds. some pious soul cuts the grass of what used to be the football field with the rusty door bars that will come down sooner or later. it is not so much for the complex itself, but for the empty area that has been created, like a wound of what was once a part of via cannizzaro alive and lived by the neighborhood. now, however, there is no longer even enlightenment, a real sadness and a urban ruin to solve and to which it seems that nothing interests anyone, not even the municipality. it is a dead place that no longer seems to exist, a no man's land.

It has not existed for years, it is an abandoned place. I am surprised by the Municipality of Modena that does nothing to fix the area.
