Samveda - Yoga Center of Kashmir and Mindfulness

If you are looking for a yoga class essentially to do some gymnastics maybe this is not the best place for you. If, on the other hand, you are looking for a path to well-being and integral health, which involves the body, mind and spirit together and awakens to awareness, well, then I highly recommend Samveda. Indeed, on behalf of Mario and Valeria I already give you a fraternal welcome. These are new times, in which the aspiration to a more consciously lived life has awakened in many of us. Samveda can become a reference point of the heart, a precious help to cultivate this inner call with appointments and concrete gestures and not lose it in the "noise" of our days. In the light of the teachings of the masters of wisdom of yesterday and today, accompanied in the practice and understanding of the Way by the sensitivity and experience of Mario Shivakumar and Vale Shanti, with travel companions who travel the same path to rediscover the Being who we are.

We met Mario at the yoga festival in Matera 2 years ago and we found a real Master, who is guiding us along the path of Consciousness. Profound connoisseur of the mystics of each tradition, he manages to transfer the teachings with a simple and effective language. In these months of Lockdown his online yoga and meditation lessons and the Saturday morning Satsang have been a great opportunity for internal growth even for those of us who live far from Turin. Valeria Shanti with her grace and sweetness is guiding us in Food Awareness, with detox, the lessons of integral vegetable cooking and with her wonderful recipes even cooking has become a moment of sharing and meditation for the whole family. I experienced Mindfulness at Samveda two years ago. Today I am continuing the path of awareness through guided meditations. What is obtained through practice is a greater openness towards oneself and the world and the great thing is that one can experience it directly during daily life, in small things. In this way, a greater sense of fullness is found only thanks to the acquired ability to remain in the present moment, which happens (it seems a paradox, I know!) Thanks to Do not do. At Samveda you can learn to do more, to be more, thanks to non-doing, which is complete abandonment and contact with our inner vital source, which only needs to be found. My experience at Samveda is really positive, both for the people who are there, and for the place that gives a great sense of peace.
