Built in the 12th century outside the city walls to accommodate pilgrims going to the Archangel grotto. Consisting of a single nave divided into three zones by two ogival arches, another splendid example of the Apulian-Romanesque style. Unfortunately the church is closed because the splendid portal is at risk of collapse. To be urgently restored to bring it to its ancient splendor and make it possible to visit another masterpiece of this splendid but tormented country.
