Absolutely beautiful to visit !!! GRandeeeee ...... From the unusual external shape that recalls a cathedral stretching upwards. Next to it are the "stairways" (homonymous) of Sant’Ercolano which constitute the "cordonata" with which once you arrived at the city center where the palaces of the Priori and Capitano del Popolo are located.

I give a star not for the Church itself, which as you can see from the photos is a masterpiece of art. I give a star for the rascality of the parish priest, or whatever it was, who literally closed the door in our face at 18.20. It doesn't seem like the way to treat two tourists who come from 300 kilometers away. He didn't let us in with the excuse that the caretaker wasn't there, and he "couldn't guard the church" (for ten minutes?). Crazy stuff.
