After having had an audiometric and impedance test, I was given a diagnosis of "phlegm" (not even written on the report due to lack of time). The problem persisted in the following days and, upon returning from vacation, I turned to my ENT, who discovered that with such an impedance test it was simply impossible that the problem was phlegm and that the problem was attributable to a hearing loss. sudden with inflammation of the acoustic nerve to be treated absolutely as quickly as possible. He prescribed me cortisone and after two days the situation actually improved significantly. Several doctors to whom I have told this incident have described it as unacceptable by an ENT specialist. My personal advice is to avoid this doctor.
