A fantastically beautiful church. Well worth a visit.

Built, I believe, at the time was the family chapel of the country villa of the Marquises De Mari (which is the current villa Gruber changed ownership and renovated several times) at the time in which their tombs were housed family. When the De Mari went in low luck (I think at the beginning of the 19th century) villa and surrounding land were sold but a part of the land was donated to a congregation of nuns with the agreement that they would provide for the conservation of the church. The convent complex remained until the end of the 1950s, then the nuns sold the convent and land and on which the current buildings were built. The church has an octagonal plan, the interior is bright and welcoming. Noteworthy is the altar in polychrome marble and the image of the Madonna. On the walls and on the floor there are still the tombstones of the De Mari tombs.

Fabulous church, a bit small but very welcoming and fantastically clean, the altar with the painting of the Madonna of sanctity, a work by narducci from 1915 wow without words.
