Easily assessable and good atmosphere to pray, you find it just behind the busstop a30 seconds away where you find early holymass at 07:30am.
Nice church near the city center (10 minute walk from Piazza Ferrari). Although from the outside the church may not seem impressive, the inner part of the church is amazing, with enormous frescoes and a gorgeous altar. In addition, the way light comes through the dome gives a unique atmosphere.

The church of Our Lady of Consolation is located in the street that connects the triumphal arch to the Abbey of Santo Stefano.
The building dates back to 1473.
The façade is in Baroque style, with an interesting two-color effect.
The interior is divided into three naves, with a basilical plan, in Baroque style.
The things that make this church wonderful are:
- The baroque features of the façade (eg the windows);
- the great gold crucifix on panel, by Pietro Lorenzetti, in 1340 (one of the few medieval works in Genoa);
- the sacristy with eighteenth-century furniture.
Free admission.
