Very nice place, only locals with pizza starting from 5 Euro. Visited La Piedigrotta on our first day and our last one, both times absolute pefect!!!

We spent three nights in Genoa for a leisure break. Although there was an abundance of restaurants in our area, mainly pizzerias; we enjoyed our experience at La Piedigrotta the first night so much, that we dined there on the following two evenings also. There was nothing to be faulted, except the minor inconvenience of not having regular lime soda to drink. But this is more of a regional issue, nothing attributable to the restaurant itself. We are an English/German couple with zero knowledge of the Italian language, but there were no failures in communication. We were even provided with an English menu. Our large dog was welcomed too, but noticed that a lot of establishments in the area prohibited the entry of dogs. The food is very delicious and plentiful and extremely good value for money. Service was fast and attentive. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit if in this area of Genoa.
