I studied 4 weeks at this school and stayed 4 weeks in student housing. Great teachers and other staff members. Everyone I interacted with was professional and kind. I am glad I picked this school for my first experience with the Italian language. A great experience. Thank you!

Scuola Tricolore offers an extremely helpful, responsive and engaging language learning experience in a wonderful and accessible part of Genoa. Communication in arranging tuition was very pleasant and reliable. An intensive course was also designed around my own availability which was particularly helpful and impressive. The school staff are also very passionate about various different languages and cultures - making this a fantastic point of entry for anyone wishing to have a genuine learning experience of the Italian language and Genoa itself!

Really excellent school for learning Italian with very dedicated teachers that supported me enormously during my 5 weeks at the school and up to the CILS exam. Very impressed and a little sad to have left after only 5 weeks..

I´ve been to many language schools in several countries, so I can compare the quality of the course and accomodation to others. First of all, I wouldn´t recommend this school for those who would like to improve the level of language and come to Italy to study. The course plan is VERY chaotic, I stayed for 1 month on A2 and we didn´t learn anything about verbs and tenses which is the most important thing on this level, at the same time we had much less important themes such as articles, pronouns etc., and the worst thing was that the teacher repeated some of them 3 times during the month. Another girl that stayed in the class for 2 months also said that they never studied the future tense, which is ridiculous not to know it after finishing A1-A2 level. Another thing was accomodation which was not clean. The cleaning lady was coming to the appartment only if some new student was coming and instead of staying there for 2 hours she was cleasning 5 dorms flat in 30 minutes, just washing floor slightly (not everywhere) and kitchen. There was a lot of dust everywhere and mold in the bathroom. We have reported this to a school and got the answer that it was our responsibility to clean the coomon areas in the appartment which I believe is not fare taking into account the amount we were paying for it. And, of course, students who are coming for vacations for 2-3 weeks, would never care of this. Also this cleaning lady was supposed to give keys to new students, but she was never answering the phone where someone new was calling her to know the right address of the appartment or sth like this. So 2 of our flatmates had to stay in a hotel the first night due to her irresponsibility and of course the were not refunded by a school.
