Very beautiful church, on the outside it presents elements and architectural styles typical of the Middle Ages, in particular I found the medieval origin, in particular the Romanesque of the facade, also the presence of some Romanesque elements such as the bell tower and the Latin cross layout of the nave made to think of a Romanesque origin of the church, I want to clarify that I am going to intuit because I have not found reliable sources on the origin of this religious complex. The interior of the church, moreover like that of most of the Italian churches of Romanesque origin, was massacred by a little Baroque aesthetic with lots of various stuccos, the works inside are of little thickness and very unimportant but some of twentieth-century origin find typical elements of the Italian pastoral expressionism of the twentieth century. The church inside a bit as mentioned above is a Latin cross and is formed by the intersection of the single central nave with the transept a correspondence of the altar I find the two spans very nice and among other things both innovations of the Romanesque period , the apse is not particularly beautiful but in any case I have not had the opportunity to see it properly. Overall an excellent church on the outside but aesthetically "damaged by the Baroque which ruined the simplicity and expressive purity of the medieval churches although it must be said that in the Baroque times there was a greater iconoclasm than in the Middle Ages where the simplicity of a church without unnecessary decorations. P.S I do not have it with the Baroque but I believe that Italy would have more aesthetic beauties if there had not been the Baroque to ruin those beautiful churches

Perhaps not known but with its simplicity makes us' idea of Castelnovo Monti of churches defaced and looted under Napoleon. Cool when it is warm but always beautiful in all seasons.

Great, everything is great. Where there is goodness and .... PEACE .. it's all great. Cabrioni have begun and always done with love, could not go otherwise ...
