Perfect location, free parking, no charge!
One of the closest car parks to the historic center. Looking at it in plan could generate the misunderstanding of considering it comfortable. It is placed at the foot of a rather demanding climb even if it has the advantage of "coming out" directly in the central square, that of the Town Hall. Halfway along, on the left, there are public toilets, not beautiful or modern, but certainly useful for those who, perhaps after a trip, should need them.
Parking is a stone's throw from the center. It is located in the lower part of the walls, so to get to the center of the village of the town it is necessary to do 200 meters uphill, but nothing like that. Being very large, there is always room, even on a Saturday night. If I am not mistaken it should be free. Among other things, it is also provided with a small comfortable convenient gas station.
All around a beautiful panorama that ranges from Lake Trasimeno to Monte Amiata and Valdarno. Convenient parking under the cyclopean walls of Cortona which can be accessed through one of the ancient doors of Etruscan origin going up a steep 'wrinkle' that ends proptio in the central heart of the splendid town.
