Ancient church of this village so tied to the ancient traditions, it carries out its most important anniversary on the second Sunday of October when it honors the holy Celestine martyr. The patronal festival is among the most beautiful and long in the country and sees the saint honor a representation of the body of the Bersaglieri. We hope many of you will come.

CHURCH OF SANTA MARIA DELLE GRAZIE. It is commonly called the "Church of the Dead", because the Confraternity of the Good Death is located there and officiates there. Example of neoclassical architecture, it has a beautiful prospect of travertine, from the first half of the 1800s, in a single order, with niches and ionic pilasters, preceded by a double flight of stairs under which a crypt opens. Of the first church only the graceful bell tower remains, with rounded stone corners like walled columns and a brick bell cell. After the 1962 earthquake, considerable restoration works were carried out aimed at almost absolute respect for the original architectural lines. The sepulchral plaque of the Duke of Bovino, Carlo Antonio Guevara, who died on 16 February 1674 was also recovered. The interior contains stucco decorations of good workmanship and is enriched with artistic painted canvases, from the 18th century. The body of San Celestino Martire is venerated there, which is preserved in an artistic urn, together with an ampoule with its blood. The feast in his honor is celebrated on the second Sunday of October. (Municipality of Bovino)
