Chiesa di Tignano

Wonderful scenery views from the Chiesa Tignano also a little wooden stairs to a the upperhill. A quite place in the hills of Sasso Marcony. In autumn the colours makes more exciting the place.

Pretty little church surrounded by the green hills. Too bad it is almost always closed, however the surrounding landscape conveys tranquility and peace.

The church has nothing special in itself and is almost always closed (I visited it on 11 November for the feast of St. Martin: then lunch and castagnata). But the outline is really beautiful: interesting the bell group placed in a low building a few tens of meters from the church; pleasant green spaces around the church and other annexed buildings; very beautiful the views that open from two sides of the complex; captivating the eremitic isolation and the silence of contour.

Completely renovated bell tower! To see for a glimpse of Bolognese tradition.
