The church of San Francesco, is the second absolute church, after the Basilica of Assisi, to be dedicated to the saint and is therefore very important. For years it has been considered the "cathedral" of Orvieto. Today, after some restoration works, it seems to be closed to both worship and visits.

Closed place and inaccessible to all sin because a church with beautiful and valuable frescoes and a place really worth visiting but unfortunately the owners that is the bishop closed this place I hope it can reopen it as soon as possible !.

Huge, soaring high on the small square. Sin seems almost abandoned, at least from the outside. Too bad we can't visit

The church seems closed for a long time to judge from the outside and also from the door. I do not know if it's open on some occasions during the summer. However, no indication on the door appears.
