4 stars because this church (deconsecrated) has a special charm for me, where there is no plaque or a sign to bring a person interested in knowing it. Well, currently untidy and in decline, it has also been the subject of internal works for its safety. In Romanesque style, the original building dates back to the 14th century, a work of the Discalced Carmelites who later ceded it, in the 16th century it was almost entirely rebuilt due to some failure. The entrance is from Piazza del Popolo, characterized by a pointed arch and by the door (today) in bronze.

This small church is located in front of the Palazzo del Popolo and is now unused except occasionally to host small exhibitions and events. It is one of the three churches that guarded the square along with those of San Bernardo and San Leonardo.
