It was built in 1730. It contains a canvas depicting the Pietà, the work of a disciple of the Dominican school Mattia Preti di Taverna. The private chapel of the Marquises Di Maida, also originating from Taverna, was destroyed by the earthquake of 8 March 1832. It was rebuilt and enlarged in 1839. In the chapel there is a canvas depicting St. Alfonso M. Dei Liguori founder of the Redemptorist fathers and whose body is found in the cathedral of Pagani in the province of Salerno. The baptismal font, in the shape of a marble shell, dates back to 1887; the flooring is in oriental design tiles. Now it is open to the public only on the occasion of a party. It currently remains one of Cutro's oldest buildings. (Source Wikipedia.it)
