The Cube was born as a Service Center annexed to the Cittadella dello Sport and was the headquarters of the SUISM (University Structure of Hygiene and Motor Sciences) until 2013, when following the commissioner of the Municipality the University transferred its activities to Turin. Purchased by the Municipality in 2019, it houses the Didactic Direction, and was used to set up the seats for the 2020 Referendum, thus avoiding interrupting lessons in schools that had just started the school year. The relocation of the "Carlo Casalegno" middle school to the Cubo premises is planned and awaiting funding, made more pressing by the need to respect the spaces provided for by the anticovid decree.
