The Church of Santa Caterina is of great historical importance! Its splendid external façade is in Baroque style. Inside, it has a unique, highly prized, Navata, with four side chapels on its sides, each with a balustrade and a small gate on the front. The walls of the chapels are all sumptuously decorated by hand At the top of the main altar there is a statue of San Francesco di Paola, while on the large entrance window there is a solemn Organ with reeds. Each Chapel has interesting paintings in the center, among which: one by Carlo Rosa and another by Marco Pino da Siena, dated 1518. On the other hand, six, colored glass windows, with dark windows, start off from the ceiling to obscure, probably, the intense sunlight. Lately, this important church has received refined restoration work on the external façade, whitening the construction stones and a walkway to the side of the entrance steps for access for disabled people. Yes, by revisiting it, last night, I noticed, at most, and beyond, its splendor!
