tradition has it that in this church every year on May 22 - the anniversary of Santa Rita da Cascia - a special blessing ceremony of roses is held which is very much felt by the people of Modena. is it possible to know how this ceremony will take place this year with the pandemic? Small very old brick church in the historic center of Modena. It houses the tomb of the great scholar of Vignola Ludovico Antonio Muratori. Great place to pray. The parish priest always keeps classical music in the background, at low volume, which cheers up the soul and reconciles it with prayer.

Church of medieval origin (but only the facade remains) while the rest dates back to the XVIII century, when it was entrusted to Ludovico Antonio Muratori who is buried there

The church is beautiful but seems to have been abandoned. No reatauro of the internal colors to give a good vision to the whole.
