I look at them, I ask her the price (€ 150) and I say: "Okay, I'll take them, can you give me a gift package?" The answer left me flabbergasted: now no! If you want, you can come back in an hour. I ask for the reason and the saleswoman tells me that she should have gone to the back room to pack. Since - I repeat - the shop was EMPTY, the obvious underlying response was that she did not want to leave me alone during her absence !!! Since I am not a thief in life, such a response (and the denial of my hyper-legitimate request to have a gift package for Christmas) led me to say goodbye and leave immediately. Once in the car, I set the search for "Clark man Turin" and a shop jumped out, a few hundred meters away - Gino Baudino - in via Pigafetta 49. I was served quickly, courteously, I paid for the same shoes € 138 instead of 150 and - obviously - once at the checkout, they gave me a beautiful gift package, without me even having to ask for it Oh I forgot! They also gave me a courtesy receipt if my husband wanted to make a change Moral: should it happen to me to look for shoes at Crocetta again, I will know where to go and where NO !!
