FUOCO SERVICE

Impossible to reach for those who are not local. The streets are often without names and signs. I had made an appointment this morning to have my Mazda serviced. I arrived on time in Rende, despite coming from outside the province, with an infernal highway, full of works in progress, and I found myself in a tangle of nameless streets, with no indication of the workshop. I called several times to ask for help, but no one answered me. I asked for directions to those few people I found in those country roads, but it wasn't enough: the first asked me if it was window frames (!); another told me to turn left and take the second right, but that road had no right for miles and got lost in the countryside, where I found a farmer on the tractor who assured me there was none workshop, in those parts; back, I asked the Iveco, Audi and Toyota workshops for information, and the latter invited me to look up, or I wouldn't have seen the shed! At this point, after an hour and a half of walking around without finding the Fire workshop, I decided that I would not leave Rende until I reached the place, but only on principle! I slipped back into those streets - I don't know how many times I passed the Gazzetta del Sud - and went my own way, turning, at a certain point, in a direction I had not yet taken. So, looking up at the sky, I finally saw the sign: I reached the workshop, where I curtly complained, and canceled the appointment, on principle! I took the road back, following the signs for the motorway, until I came to a crossroads, where the road forked in two opposite directions, without any signs for the motorway: I turned right and, this time, I was fine with it. After about half an hour my phone rang: it was the workshop calling me because "it had found my calls"! ... I drove two hundred kilometers, there and back, without counting the kilometers inside Rende, and I wasted a whole morning. Finally, I add that the workshop even sent me the Google map to find it! ...
