I was admitted to the Department of Neurosurgery directed by the Primary DOTT. Antonio COLAMARIA to perform a cervical stenosis surgery by the same Headmaster. Maximum functionality of the department starting from the doctors, from the head nurse Francesco, to the nurses and the Oss. Staff very helpful in all circumstances and unique kindness, very hygienic environments. Department perfectly managed even in this difficult period of pandemic.

Too bad we can't give 0 stars !!! Shameful is to say the least ... specifically I mean the second floor infectious diseases. These days there is my 83 year old father hospitalized in this ward and the things that come out are inadmissible starting with the absolute lack of hygiene ... urine and blood fallen on the ground left there for days despite repeated requests from the part. of my father to clean. The room was only cleaned when I myself took care to contact the ward complaining of the unpleasant situation and threaten to call the hospital management in case this was not resolved soon. I would like them or a loved one to stay in those conditions! Blankets are missing !!! My father had a fever on the first night and had asked for a blanket ... the answer was: "there are no other blankets" to which he had to wear two pajamas to get better ... WE ARE IN THE THIRD WORLD? THE TOILET SERVICES DO NOT WORK and the staff does not come throughout the night to CHECK the PATIENTS in the rooms. Despite the constant calls to the number of the medical room of the ward we are unable to speak any doctor never answers anyone, the only news we have from my father who fortunately is vigilant. Another negative note is that during the night the patients' rooms are locked ... INCREDIBLE !!! This way the staff on duty can relax and rest without being disturbed. And if unfortunately there is an emergency situation? (fire, earthquake, flood) Courtesy and understanding on the part of the staff is completely absent. I have no words I am bewildered and horrified. How can a structure like this go ahead where not doing one's job (in their case MISSION) with dedication and attention to people who for one reason or another are there to take care of themselves where in addition to care they would also need to be treated comfort given that their loved ones cannot take care of it due to the impossibility, thanks to the restrictions for Covid, to be able to visit them. We understand the difficulty of the moment but humanity must never fail even in difficult moments like these. They must not be numbers but people with a dignity that must always and in any case be respected. Are we talking about a hospital or a concentration camp? Where has the money allocated for this emergency gone? MISSING doctors, cleaning, nurses, blankets, tampons and even aids for those at home. And we are only at the beginning !!!

I have been in the emergency room, 7 hours doctors who make diagnoses sitting, visited in mixed dormitories, speed, little attention to symptoms and needs. They leave you alone without even accompanying you to do the exams .. let's not talk about hygiene blood stains on the ground to park armchairs without toilet cover given the period and icing on the cake after an x-ray result, and tac in private I discover a cyst .. ... which in my opinion was already clear from their x-ray so I wonder the surgeon who discharged me with pains and cysts without advising me or visiting or further examinations what was he thinking that evening? This is incompetence it is not the fault of the covid ...... shame we are people not fodder if we rely on you doctors it is because we need ..... I want to see if with my report you let your mother out like this ... ... I think you would have done something else.

After the first treatments performed by the 118 staff of Zapponeta I was transported to the hospital in Foggia ....... in the emergency room my pains began ... they treated me like a beast .... .. they denied me a blanket and a little water ..... for the strong nervousness I put it back, and they left the dirty mask on my face ..... after a few hours they moved me to a room with about 15 beds, from that moment the treatment changed, a staff gentleman gave me the opportunity to freshen up and offered me a bottle of water. I asked a nurse to contact my wife to communicate my health conditions .... the gentleman kindly left me her aifon. I thank the staff of 118 of Zapponeta for first aid and the staff of the second emergency room for the humanitarian gesture against me ...... the episode is reported to 11 August 2020 ....... Moral unfortunately for some beast that works in the emergency room the others are ............... 😠
