I bought twice in this place, The first in September 2020 I bought a cake paid for around 50 euros, at the time of payment the lady told me that the POS was broken, so I had to pay in cash. The second time I was there in early December, we sat at the bar, had two coffees, at the time of payment by debit card the owner told us again that the POS was out of order and that he would not accept the card anyway. only two euros, although it is mandatory to accept it and to counteract "black" collections. The bar is nice, the products are good, but due to their attitude towards the customer and the non-respect of the rules I will never return and I will consider other places. I therefore advise against going to this bar / pastry shop to discourage illegality.

At the time of payment, the blonde lady at the cashier barks demanding payment in cash and not by card. After pointing out the obligation to own the pos, the lady goes even further. Arriving at the point where both parties wanted to call the police, the lady with mafia tones exclaims that the Carabinieri would have done absolutely nothing to her (referring to a relationship of kinship / friendship with no one knows who). Shameful to say the least for a "historic" bar in Pegli. To avoid being there to argue, we pay with cash and when we leave we realize that we had not even received the receipt, for which we had to return. The lady should be ashamed of her attitude.

This bar deserves 5 stars for its ice cream and aperitif pastry products, but above all for the way you always serve with a smile, I will return every time I come to Genoa, thanks
