A jewel in one of the most beautiful and intact villages in Italy

Castell 'Arquato is one of those places that really deserves a visit, the whole village is very well kept and the people are really kind and helpful; dedicate at least one day to this place and you will not be disappointed.

The church is beautiful, the museum small but delightful

Ancient Romanesque church, it seems to date back to the 7th century. A.D. Very well preserved it is located between the Rocca Viscontea and the Palazzo del Podestà. It contains 3 chapels, one dedicated to St. Joseph of the 1600s; one dedicated to St. Catherine from the early 1400s and the last containing a stone basin from the 8th century. A.D. The collegiate church includes the bell tower, the cloister and other buildings, now also a museum. Absolutely to visit like the whole village.
