IAT Laigueglia

Great place for a holiday.. We spent 4 weeks in Laiguelia and traveling every few days to places wth an Avis car hired Fiat Topo estate diesel.. We did over a 1000 mls once we thought the gauge had stuck it didn't take much to top it up.. But Laiguelia is a laid back place but still has a great atmoss.. People walking on the long long promenade from place to place if u wish all wth the sea 🌅 views.. A market every Friday great for food and clothes.. Cheeses and meats gorgeous.. A parade with as on to thier Saint I do hope I have this correct St. Mateo.. A pure silver statue is paraded through the streets after the service in the magnificent church there that is worth a visit there on its own.. It looks like an ordinary church from the outside but get in and its a Tardis.. A beautiful magnificent church.. Fan daby dozey.. Worth time sitting with the peace and quiet.. 🕍.. And to match the parade a weeknd market wth all the 🧀 cheeses and meats of Italy etc taste as you walk down the road. We had a great chill and the cafe's and places to eat are excellent.. The staff we found always willing to interpret for us the menus.. We went to Monte Carlo.. San Remo. Nice.. All within hr and a half on their motoways.. We want to go again and visit more places and churches around Laiguelia.. Truly wonderful experience for my first trip to Italy of the people and places and the super food.. we had a flat 100yds from the great very clean beach.. I don't know how we managed.. Lol.. Try Laiguelia for yourselves.. Just close enough to Genoa airport too..well worth the visit.. A++++++
