"IL TULIPANO" hospice of the Niguarda Ca ’Granda Hospital in Milan A reality of excellence in Lombard public health. Every year thousands of people with incurable terminal illness face the tragedy of this situation together with their families, often in unsuitable structures. This Hospice was created to assist human beings in the last stretch of the path of life. Here you are not a patient with a bracelet on the wrist but mainly a human being who, due to various pathologies, knows both physical and psychological pain. The task of this structure made up of highly specialized nursing medical personnel is to ferry our existence into another dimension. Everything happens painlessly surrounded by humanity, love and kindness in an environment created ad hoc, a kind of mini apartment where even the most loved one can stay close to you during this (often short) period of stay. The appointment with death is a natural event for many but not for all. Some need to be accompanied sweetly ..... Just as they were sweetly received on the day they were born. Thanks to all those who are part of the staff who carry out this mission with dedication and competence, giving added value to a public service of significant importance. Dad smile you are in good hands.

It is part of the Niguarda Ca 'Granda hospital unit. Immersed in a beautiful park, the structure is welcoming with rooms customized to the type of situation, which also allow you to host a relative or caregiver with a bed near your loved one. The environment may seem strange but it is a familiar one despite being made up of highly specialized medical and paramedical personnel. One of the things that particularly sets this place apart from many others is the presence of Popper a Labrador puppy for pet therapy loved by all patients. Well done 5 stars you deserve

Thank you all you were fantastic loving you made us children but above all my father the last "light" dignified period .. Thanks because each of you in addition to professionalism gives love and a little of ourselves we will always carry you in our heart fam . Tuscan

thank you, in particular thanks to the doctors, doctors and nurses and nurses! arrival from a previous negative experience hospice vidas and I was very bad idea to accompany my aunt at the ippocarte, but in this place I found a serene setting, so friendly and always ready with a smile and good at what they they must do to help others

Those who encounter the reality of hospices are always in a precarious emotional condition, but I can say that the staff of this center works to help and make livable the last moments together with their sick loved ones.
