It is a place where one breathes sanctity and there is the tomb of Blessed Benedetta Bianchi Porro.

In this beautiful church in the village of Dovadola, there is the finely sculpted sarcophagus which contains the remains of Benedetta Bianchi Porro. The saint, just named by Pope Francis, is known throughout the world for her life-sickness journey during which she has always tried to convey messages of love and peace, despite her physical condition. It is also known as the saint of desperate cases and many resort to this place to find spiritual relief.

In the Abbey the remains of Benedetta Bianchi Porro are kept alive. I have always felt close to her as a friend since I met her story several years ago and started praying to her. Thanks BENEDETTA
