In times like these, where you can easily buy books on the internet without moving from home, the only chance of survival for independent bookstores is to provide help to the customer, some advice on the right text from "one of the trade", something that online stores can't do. Instead, after having asked if they had titles on a specific topic, I felt to answer with enough that the bibliographic search I have to do it myself and not them.
