The Church of San Pietro Apostolo stands in the secluded area of Centenaro, with East-West orientation. The façade is salient, with the central part in slight overhang, divided into three sections by overlapping pilasters, in stone, separated by trabeations broken into overhangs. The façade is crowned by a triangular broken pediment, flanked by curvilinear rampants. The central part of the second and third order is in exposed stone. In the center it seems the only rectangular portal in stone, preceded by a porch, in stone, with a round arch on square pilatri. On the sides of the portal there are two rounded niches, above which runs a curvilinear molded frame. In the upper part, in the center there is a splayed rosette, with radial columns. The fronts of the minor aisles are connected to the façade with curved rampants and are closed on the sides by square pillars, surmounted by spiers on pillars. In the fronts a rectangular window opens to the side. The side fronts are pierced by four rectangular windows, in the minor aisles and four large windows in the nave and two lunette windows also in the side walls of the presbytery. The bell tower rises isolated on the right of the church. In exposed stone, with a square plan, it ends with a cell open on all four sides of a single-lancet window, covered by a conical stone spire roof. On the right side of the church is the Canonica.Plantical planimetry of the basilica, with three naves, divided into four bays by pilasters, above which runs a broken entablature along the nave, the presbytery and the apse. The aisles are separated by round arches on sturdy pillars. The spans are barrel-vaulted, with the vault pierced by the claws of the Clarins window. In the back walls of the minor naves there are the votive altars dedicated, the one on the right, to San Sebastiano, the left one to the Beata Vergine del Rosario. The presbytery, raised by two marble steps, on the church level, has a single span, barrel-vaulted, also pierced by the nails of the large windows. The semicircular apse is covered by a basin vault. On the back wall of the apse there are three niches that hold the statues of Christ and of the Madonna. Roofs Roof pitch with cement roofing tiles. Floors and floors Tile floor of cotto. they are painted with floral and geometric motifs. The vault of the apse is painted with the figures of Christ and Saint Peter.
